Short Brief:
IIMS Surabaya is one of the largest annual automotive exhibitions in Indonesia, typically held in Jakarta, Surabaya, and Makassar, and organized by Dyandra Promosindo, one of the country’s leading event organizers. In 2025, Observisual had the opportunity to support Dyandra in visual branding, social media, and photography for day-of content needs.
IIMS Surabaya 2025 took place from May 28 to June 1, 2025, at Grand City Convex Surabaya, showcasing the latest automotive technologies and accessories from renowned brands such as Aion, BMW, BYD, Chery, Daihatsu, Honda, Hyundai, and MG. Visitors could explore the exhibition daily from 10 AM to 10 PM, while also enjoying IIMS Infinite Live entertainment on May 31 and June 1, 2025.
Observisual’s role in this project was to ensure that every aspect of the visuals and digital content delivered an engaging experience for the audience—from creating captivating social media feeds to documenting key moments of the exhibition through photography. With this approach, we helped IIMS Surabaya become not just an automotive exhibition, but also a vibrant digital experience for visitors and automotive enthusiasts alike.

Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) Surabaya 2025
Project Summary:
For IIMS Surabaya 2025, Observisual optimized the organizer-provided key visual, logo, and derivatives to create a consistent and engaging experience. With a dominant red palette and the “infinite” illustration as the core, our approach allowed visitors to feel the energy and excitement of the motor show, turning them from passive spectators into active participants.
We also managed the motor show’s social media presence, from feed content to event-day photography, bridging offline and online audiences. This included real-time coverage of supporting events, as well as showcasing Infinite Live a special concert featuring The Changcuters and Vierratale adding another layer of excitement that blended automotive innovation with live entertainment.
Despite limited room for creative expression due to pre-defined guidelines, we applied small yet strategic visual modifications to maintain engagement and prevent fatigue. This experience marked Observisual’s first direct involvement in an automotive event, allowing us to better understand the industry, engage a diverse audience, and deliver compelling, relevant digital content for a large-scale exhibition.
We are proud to have collaborated with Dyandra in managing social media and nurturing audience engagement for the Indonesia International Motor Show 2025 in Surabaya.
